STM-Berri- Uqam Metro station renovation stretched over two years, with minimal impact on commuters.

Work completed in 2020, the renovated the STM- Berri and Place Dupuis entrance buildings improved daylighting to make the faded station brighter and more welcoming. LITEFLAM XT 60 multi-panel assembly fire-rated glass floor made this possible.

“Berri-UQAM is the network’s busiest station with some 12.9 million passenger entries per year, so the work in the station is essential to extend its service life and stabilize its maintenance costs. Furthermore, as part of our change in direction, aimed at making customers the focus of our priorities, the work will help us to reach one of the goals we set out for ourselves, and that is curbing the maintenance deficit affecting our assets,”
