The New LCRH was designed for patient comfort which has two main benefits. Patient recovery times are faster and Staff retention is higher.

By utilizing LITEFLAM XT 90 as a fire-rated glass floor assembly allows natural light to penetrate deep within the hospital. This saves the use of artificial lighting and utilizes natural light which adds to the patient and staff care. Greenlite Glass worked with Perkins Will to design and manufacture a glass floor assembly that would meet with their strict code requirements of ASTM E 119, CAN/ULC S 101 for Resistive glass.

Besides the health benefits, there are cost savings over the life cycle of the hospital by utilizing natural light.
